Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

These terms apply when you use the HeyVox app and service ("HeyVox", "we", "us"), operated as a sole trader business in Perth, Western Australia. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to them.

What HeyVox is

HeyVox is a voicemail and receptionist service. When you can't answer, calls you've forwarded divert to a dedicated HeyVox number, where callers can leave messages that are recorded, transcribed and delivered to your app inbox with AI-generated summaries and suggestions.

What HeyVox is not

Your account

Subscriptions and billing

Shared access

On Pro+, you may invite others to help manage your inbox. You're responsible for who you invite and the permissions you grant them. They can see the messages in your inbox, so only invite people you trust. You can remove access at any time.

Acceptable use

You must not use HeyVox to record or handle communications unlawfully, to harass, to spam, or to impersonate others. You're responsible for complying with laws that apply to recording and handling calls and messages in your state or territory. We may suspend an account where we reasonably believe it is being used unlawfully or in a way that harms the service or other users. Unless the conduct is serious or we are legally prevented, we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix it before or promptly after suspension.

Your content

Voicemails, greetings and configuration are yours. You grant us the limited rights needed to store, process (including AI processing) and deliver them to you as part of the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under Australian Consumer Law. Beyond those rights, HeyVox is provided "as is", and to the extent permitted by law our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the three months before the claim arose. We're not liable for missed calls, missed business opportunities, carrier or network failures, or errors in AI-generated content.

Changes to the service or terms

We may improve or change HeyVox over time. If we make a material change to these terms or materially reduce the service, we will give you at least 30 days' notice in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you don't accept the change, you may cancel before it takes effect and receive a pro-rata refund of any unused portion of your current billing period. Minor changes (clarifications, new features, corrections) may be made by updating this page with a new date.

Disputes

If something goes wrong, contact us first at [email protected] and we'll try to fix it — most problems are resolved quickly this way. Nothing in this section prevents you from exercising your rights under Australian Consumer Law or complaining to a regulator at any time.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable or unfair, that part is severed and the rest continues to apply. A failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about HeyVox.
